Engagement Session Fun!
Engagement sessions are a great way to relax with your partner, while exploring a beautiful location and creating some fantastic memories. They are also a great practice run for your wedding day. Breaking the ice between you and your engagement photographer and shaking off any nerves that you may be feeling about being in front of the camera.
One thing that shouldn’t be forgotten is that these engagements photography sessions can and should be fun!
Ashleigh & Tristan Enjoying Their Engagement
Like most couples, when we met Ashleigh and Tristan for their engagement photography session we could initially sense some nerves.
Their first few minutes in front of the camera were kind of awkward, and that’s okay – only models and celebrities pose for photos every day. After a few minutes breaking the ice it became obvious that beneath the timid exterior there was a wonderful sense of humor and joy waiting to come out.
…If you happen to meet Tristan ask him for a legume joke and you’ll know what we mean.
Adventurous Engagement Session
We love couples who are willing to explore and be adventurous.
It was a fantastic moment seeing Ashleigh and Tristan’s faces light up when we showed them the location for our shoot. Being lovers of traveling, hiking and rock climbing they were overjoyed when they laid eyes on the rugged, other worldly area we had in mind.
Eagerly this intrepid pair made an easy decent of the steep stony hill, down to the tiny peninsula on this southern beach. Boldly they walked out to the very end where only two may stand together.
In our minds and in their photography this is where we see them. Stood together, hand in hand, looking naturally glamorous, facing across the sea on to the setting sun – truly amazing stuff!
Ashleigh & Tristan thank you for being so adventurous and allowing us to witness this part of your lives. It was a privilege to be able to help you capture these moments and preserve this part of your wedding journey through meaningful images.
