Can you find one person with an outrageously great voice, sparkling personality, hilarious sense of humour and spectacular hair? Yes you can, she is Hannah Castleman.
Hannah is a phenomenal jazz and soul singer based in London, England. She performs as a solo artist, as one third of the incredibly gifted vocal harmony trio The Spitfire Sisters and as the title performer of the Hannah Castleman Quartet.
Hannah’s talents have been described as ‘immense’. Her incredible vocal range and technique is aspired to my many, she is also well versed in multiple musical instruments. Hannah is always singing. When she walks the streets of London, it’s like the music walks with her. Brimming with creativity, this songstress can usually be found performing, rehearsing, organizing, and teaching.
On top of all her outstanding musical talents, she is also one of the directors of the Winchester Jazz Festival.
Each September, the festival brings soulful sounds of jazz and swing music to the beautiful and historic town of Winchester in the heart of Hampshire, UK. In 2017 it will be taking place on 21st-24th September.
We had the pleasure of hanging out with Hannah Castleman in London. We talked, we laughed, we sang, we even put the music on and had a boogie. Throughout all this fun, we also captured some great photographs. She is generous, bubbly, creative and her voice can blow you away. Do not miss an opportunity to hear this woman sing.
Experiencing her music is something everyone should put on their bucket list!
